THE VIRTUAL EDUCATION

Introduction

Online or virtual education, is a form of education, measured by technological devices, that requires minimum specifications, but are limited by them, as an example, processing capacity of your laptop and stable internet connection is needed, and as simple as it might sound, not all students have them. This type of learning has various advantages: asynchronous material, can be studied from any location, is democratic, instructional, planned and methodical. Helps horizontal relations in studying/working crossfunctional teams, allowing students for self-pace learning.

In this article I will guide the reader through the positive and negative aspects of online education, the challenges of this learning method from an experienced teacher point of view, who saw students struggle but succeding at the end.

The virtual education has a lot of positive aspects like these:

• Team work, that allow the Interaction with other students sharing the knowledge of all members of the team.

• Time management, allowing that each student controls their availability and times.

• Interactive contents, that generate a creative enviroment to learn.

• Learning Network, that feeds and grows with the knowledge of all members.

• Learning contents always available, which allow students to review and repeat the lessons every time they need it.

The negative aspects are:

- High speed bandwith connectivy is required

- E-students must be disciplined, self controlled, responsible for it self pace, and aware of the impacts derived from their delays on their colleagues progress

- Time consuming activities for the e-tutor, as he must review, assess and feedback in an oportunistic manner, and at the same time being empathic.

My point of view.

I consider the virtual education as democratical, allowing effective learning processes for e-students in both, disciplines related aspects and interpersonal relationships skills. Fostering, team work in multiple locations.

Conclusion.

Virtual education is an excellente option for almost everyone, and I don’t include all people, because it demands responsibility, attention, focus. But if you comply with this requirements,  e-students will evolve personally and professionally, serving to the society.

EFFECTS OF TECHNOLOGY

Introduction

The world has changed and people with it. Today is impossible to think about going outside without the cell phone. It is more than a phone, it’s a work and study tool that we need and use for everything and all the day.

Nevertheless, there is a small line between the use of cellphone as a tool and the development of an addiction. In this article, I will speak about this, I want to look all aspects and effects, i want that all Will be able to to understand the limits.

Positive and negative aspects

I think that the phone use facilities many actions about the daily life, it permits permanent communication between people and the connection with the notice’s world. The phone use improves academic consultations and the permanent update of the information of friends and family.

Nevertheless, the phone use can cause addiction, especially because of the social media content that keeps us entertained. Let's look the negative aspects about the phone use, and the first thing is the addiction for the social media content, because this makes than people watch worthless content, on the other hand, being enjoyable and entertaining content, people stop performing their most important tasks and paying attention to their family and friends present.

My point of view is we need to look a balance in the phone use to take advantage of its benefits and also have fun without reaching addiction.
